Facedeals uses facial recognition to send deals to customers as they walk through door

			Remember the movie Minority Report? Well a team of developers have created a way for businesses to automatically send deals to customers that walk into the front door.  This technology uses facial recognition software to scan customers' faces using the Facedeals camera box. If the consumer has pre-authorised the Facedeals app on their Facebook account, the camera automatically checks the customer into the business and additionally scans your history of Facebook likes and customises a deal based on those likes.

Privacy will become a real issue here as Facebook has previously received backlash for its use of facial recognition software on its site.  To read more click here.
